Adapting A Healthy Routine
Since coming back from the vacations with my parents and siblings, I have adopted a very healthy routine. I was never the one to follow a daily regime to the last zero, but this time I am doing it and I am really proud of my self.
My day starts at 4 o’clock in the morning, yes 4 AM. I know it makes many eyes looking weirdly at me. Who wakes up at 4 AM in the morning these days. Lol, but I do.
I won’t lie, it was pretty hard initially, I was even feeling grouchy and tired in the early days, but with time my body clock adapt the routine and now I am a proud early morning riser no matter at what time I sleep but I try to be in bed by 10 every night.
I can count many benefits of waking up early that I used to hear a lot from my father and now realize the value of all those early morning scoldings (even though my early morning means waking up after 9 in those days).
I work out for 1 hour daily now (soon will be writing about my work out routine too). I got to enjoy the precious morning views that the daily hustle-bustle and fast life destroys later in the day. My brain works better in the morning when it is not tired so I come up with more ideas not just about the blog but on my real-life work also.
So what I am doing that helps me to wake up that early. Here are a few tips:
- Sleep early at night – waking up early does not mean depriving your body of the required beauty sleep, so try to fix a time and be in bed by then.
- Drink a glass of water before sleeping – yes it really works, in the morning when your bladder will be screaming and you will have a dire need to pee, you will definitely jump out of the cosy bed.
- Give Your body some time to Adapt – Don’t conclude ‘it is not for me’ on the first or second day. Your body needs time to adjust after following a particular routine for a long time. So try slowly but dedication is a must.
So let me know if you are an early riser or would like to be one. Tipping the thought with this lovely outfit that has:
