Homemade Natural Oil Face Cleanser

Homemade Natural Oil Face Cleanser

Natural oil face cleansers are the most popular homemade face cleansers out there. It is basically just a combination of oil and water that you mix together in the palm of your hand and then apply to your face.

There are many different oils that can be used in this method. Olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil, almond oil, safflower oil, sunflower seed oil, avocado oil. The first thought that comes when we hear the word “oil” is “how can it clean our face?”. But oil is one of the best cleansers out there for dry skin that cleanse the skin without taking the natural oils of it.

Oil has a number of natural fats that help to improve skin health. For instance, coconut oil contains linoleic acid which is good for fighting acne and lauric acid which helps keep skin hydrated and healthy. It’s one of the more popular ingredients in Hollywood-inspired anti-ageing treatments.

How to apply – Take a squirt of oil (coconut, olive, grape, almond, or any other favorite) and gently massage it on your face for 30 to 40 seconds. Wet a white microfiber towel under warm water, wring the extra water out a bit, and hold the towel against your face for a few minutes. It will open the chocked pores then gently pat your face with the towel to remove the oil from your skin. Read more about Oil face cleansing here.

We would recommend using coconut oil as a homemade cleanser, it’s one of our favorites. Coconut oil is an emollient that has a high amount of saturated fats. It helps to keep the skin hydrated and helps to prevent wrinkles. It can also be used as a sunblock. Coconut oil is a natural cleanser and moisturizer. It can help with blemishes and acne and is great for sensitive skin. It is an antibacterial and antimicrobial agent. It can also help with fragile skin and sunburns. Coconut oil is also very good for the scalp and hair.

You can also get a little more adventorous with your homemade oil face cleansers, by adding in a few other ingredients. Here are instructions for one of our favorite hacks:
