Look of the Day – February 14, 2019
I just have to put this dress in the lookbook. Last week when I was working with the lovely reader who chose the Aubergine dress for her friend’s wedding, I saw this dress. Since then it is staying in my bookmarked list. So today I just decided to put it in for our Valentine’s Day Look. After all, this is the day of love and all true lovers end up in Church. We need a beautiful outfit to celebrate the love of our near and dear ones.
The $290 Crepe Jenny Packham bridesmaid dress features a figure-hugging floor-length silhouette and beading in silver. An hourglass shape flatters and shows off a marquis lace cap sleeve bodice with a keyhole back, while a trumpet skirt offers proportion and a flowing look. Although the dress is described as a bridesmaid dress, it can be worn to a formal evening event. The only downside is – it is not ready-to-wear. It will be made once the order is placed, so need at least 9-10 weeks.
I paired them both dresses with the same earrings, bracelet and clutch. The $216 Kate Collection Diamond Star 14K White Gold Stud Earrings features Starburst crawler shape in pavé diamonds.

I chose the $398 Stuart Weitzman Leigh 95 Black pumps for the black dress. The Leigh 95 pumps are definitively sleek with a sharply pointed toe and stiletto heel. Curved lines and low-dipped sides impart distinct femininity and give a head-to-toe elegance to the whole look.
For the blue dress, I pictured Dolce & Gabbana Bellucci pumps. The $967 pumps are on sale for $447 on 24Severs. Available in three elegant shades, these Dolce & Gabbana Bellucci pumps have a nearly 2.5-inch heel for optimal comfort. Their lace fabric beautifully outlines the foot while the rhinestones on the front add a jewelled touch of luminosity.
